Tips For Clients Using The Online Planning Tools
- After making changes to the request lists or planning forms, always remember to save the changes
by clicking the "Save My Lists" or "Save My Planner" button before leaving the website.
- It is not necessary to click the "Submit My Planner" or "Submit My List" button. The submit
button is just an extra feature of the planning tools that we're not able to disable. For your
convenience, we always use the latest information you have saved up until the day before your
event.
- The music request lists are only intended for dance music. To request specific songs
for background ceremony prelude, ceremony recessional, cocktail, dinner music, etc, please list these
songs in the event planning form.
- If you have a computer, you may want to check out a USB hard drive containing a sample of every
song in the library. It comes with a player program that you can use to easily listen to the songs
and drag them into request lists. No software is installed on your computer. Just ask your DJ if
you would like to check out a library. There is a $10 fee for this service.
- If you are not using the USB music library to select songs, you may find it helpful to open a
new window to the madisongrapevine.com website and refer to the popular music lists for ideas in
selecting songs using the online request system.
- For the music requests lists, you do not have to select music for your entire event. Your DJ is
skilled at selecting music your guests will enjoy dancing to even if you don't request any songs.
However, you are welcome to select any of your favorite song titles (up to 60 "Must Play" and 120
"Play If Possible") and your DJ will mix as many as possible into the final playlist. If you select
less than 15 "Must Plays", then all those songs will certainly be played. Or you can select more
than 15 and we'll still use both lists, giving higher priority to the "Must Play" list.
- If there are any songs you would like to request that we don't already have in our library, just
click on the "Custom Song" button to individually request up to 30 custom songs.
- It is not necessary to pay the remaining balance before the event. How else can you be assured
that we will show up? ;) At the event, final payment can be accepted in cash, Visa,
Mastercard, Discover, and American Express credit/bank cards. Unfortunately, we cannot accept a
personal check unless it is more than a week before the event.
